In the Heat of It

‘In the Heat of It’ is a chapter of the comic, preceded by Cid and followed by Night Hawks Part 2.

Episode 1

Musa and Sam console Zach and suggest he quit his job, telling him there are other, better opportunities for work. Zach comments about their different financial backgrounds, and how he doesn’t have a safety net to fall back on if things go wrong. Sam is offended, and Zach takes a call outside, leaving Musa to talk Sam down.

Episode 2

Zhen tells Zach over the phone that the design collective was invited to a fashion runway show. When Zach mentions he’s planning to quit his job, Zhen becomes concerned that he won’t be able to call Zach on his work phone anymore.

Episode 3

Zach reveals to Zhen he’s met Musa and that they’re now friends. Zhen becomes enraged, saying he’ll never meet Musa. He tells Zach phone relationship is stupid, they don’t mean anything to each other, and they may as well not call each other anymore.
